System Config Editor

Overview

System Config Editor is a system tool created to make modifying system configuration files easier. When ran, System Editor automatically searches for and opens CONFIG.SYS, AUTOEXEC.BAT, and will also open Windows configuration files if they exist on the hard drive.

Working with configuration files can be very difficult, so as a safety precaution, SCE automatically saves a backup copy of any configuration file you modify so that you can easily undo the changes if they do not work.

System Config Editor uses the familiar WordStar (r) style keybindings, i.e, ^KB to mark the beginning of a block, ^KK to mark the end, as well as common user interface method, i.e, Shift+Insert to Paste, Ctrl+Del to Clear.
